Well the whole house is now tidy! I am off to clean the kitchen now. Then make cauliflower cheese for tea. I even atacked a cupboard in the spare room. We have just been chucking stuff there with the doors wide open as nothing would fit in and there was a huge mess pile. Now the doors are closed and there is only a suitcase and massage table there.0

(hugs) all round more for my benefit than every oines elses
Will catch up on thread later (how many pages ?!!!! I'd forgotten how gabby you lot are)
Not got a lot (well anything really) done flying wise today but I did manage to brave the shoe shop and have got new plimsolls and wellies for the new term for the 2 older ones, and new shoes for DS. DD1's still fit and DD2 doesnt need any yet! Mind you I am now about £70 lighter
And took the kids to soft play for a couple of hours, DD2 had her fist time out crawling about and she LOVED it - so cute
Have spent about an hour on the phone to BUPA (work policy) . Work managed to eff up just about everything including my address which is why I never had any documentation sent and now hubby not well and we are making a claim. Thankfully the info on the policy was ok enough for us to be able to go ahead with the claim.
He's not like really ill or anthing but he's had bad joint and muscle pain for months now combined with a weird patch of scabby weepy skin on his hand and the GP thinks it something called psoriatic arthritis so he's been referred to a rheumatologist. He's only 38 so obviosuly young for arthritis but his Mum has it and she's only in her 50's so it might be that he's prone to it genetic wise. Hopefully with a course of steroids or similar he will get a lot better and might not flare up again that regularly if at all. It was definitely stress triggered from all this BMX park being threatened on our open public space in front of our house, he was very activiely campaigning against it and standing up against the entire local coucnil, and he doesn't do confrontation.
Its been horrible, some days he is scared to even hold the baby as he aches so badly he's scared of dropping her. Last night he was in bed before the kids (and they go to bed early!) as he was so bad. So we are relieved that they are taking it seriously enough to recommend furhter action as its just not getting better on its own.
Moan over. Now to my list which was pathetically short for these last 2 days and I still didnt manage to do much off it. Oh well tomorrows another day (and by crikey it is POURING here now. Poor hubby is on his way home hopefully via chippy as I am knackered and he offered to pick up tea. Oh goodness now its thunder and lightning!!!!).

Same weather here - maybe you're close by?
I had rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed in my early 20s. I am now free of it, although I occasionally suffer a bit - but I did suspect mine was stress triggered as it came after redundancy and being out of work for about 7 months - I got is when I resumed work! Maybe, while waiting for the appointment, he could try ibuprofen (it's a NSAID - non steroidal anti inflammatory) taken with meals try 3 x 400mg daily, with food, as long as he doesn't have tummy probs. It's over the counter - but maybe the GP has tried this?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

By the way Rupert Penry-Jones is gorgeous! I don't normally go for blond hair and blue eyes, but he's an exception. I loved him in Persuasion (put a man in period costume and I melt!)
Am melting now at the very thought!!! (Does melting mean that I get let off flying for the rest of the day??)0
