Did not even manage the few jobs I set myself, did half but I did bake my youngest son a cake for his 1st birthday tomorrow. Plus - drum roll please.......
I've just done HHI :j, and ironing is a once yearly job for me usually. I actually got quite into it and ended up ironing pillowcases because I ran out of ironable clothes on the pile.:D Just need to put pile away now:rolleyes:
Will go find the list for tomorrow and put mine up. DS's party is going to be here now instead of a picnic because of the weather so need to make the house tidy so it's easier to clear up after. Kitchen has had me baking in it then OH cooking a chili con carne so is now a tip again even though I had it lovely earlier!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

DW loaded and run... will empty tomorrow when I get home. Breakfast and lunch ready to go into cool bag when I leave the house. Route to tomorrow's meeting checked. More ironing done (only the duvet cover left from the vast pile I was ignoring until Friday). And a few things picked off the desk and put away... so that'll count as clearing clutter from the desk
. It's another layer gone!
Just need to hang up today's washing and pack my bag for tomorrow, then I can go to bed and wait for my 6am alarm... :eek:0 -
I haven't done any of the list today.
I have dirty dishes by my sink (drainer is full of clean ones that I've just washed
), there is still washing hanging around in the livingroom (the jumpers will go upstairs tomorrow though to finish drying off in the airing cupboard), and lots of "just dumped" stuff, the food processor is out (just made chicken liver pate) but you know what.....
I DON'T CARE:p
Tomorrow I'll tackle it.... I'm off to bed to hopefully get a good night sleep :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you do! Love the attitude! Goodnight & Sleep tight:wave:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Have finally finished everything I was going to do and my list was on the wall ready for when OH came in in the morning and kids came down. Only trouble is OH came home on 'standby' and said oh you left me a little note, then DD came down as she hadnt gone to bed long and heard daddy so came down and asked what it was for
wonder if DS will take the hint even tho he's at work with grandad tomorrow.
Hope you all have a good day tomorrow
See you when I get in from work and hopefully I'll be in a good mood as its kitchen day and it looks good at the moment but then I'm out of the house for 9 hours

Morning All
It's pouring down - I can't see my kitchen floor for washing - and DS wet the bed because he obviously didn't think I'd got enought washing to do!
I've also got the twins today so 2 extra bodies running around and they won't be able to go outside because of the rain!
So my day today is washing, drying, ironing, washing, drying, ironing....... as well as trying to keep 4 kids good at the same time.
Hope everyone has a good day
I'm going to have a bath now before they arrive.

Oooh well I guess that is good news as it should heal quicker. How wierd they've changed their minds though it doesn't surprise me!!! Make sure you don't overuse it...I did and it's taken ages!!! xx
Mind you I do have 'soft tissue damage' and have been told by a friend (with far too much experience of injuries) that that can take just as long to heal :sad:0 -
Morning everyone,
Tia great news about your business how exciting. Also big hugs for your friend at such a sad time.
Mudbath glad your finger is healing and you won't need an op.
Big ((((hugs)))) to all not feeling well.
Hello to all newbies.
Been on holiday last week and we had a great time even tho it rained for most of it, got home friday and PIL left early sunday morning for their holiday. We're to look after the farm for the next week and a half. Hubby was out yesterday morning on the tractor when the 2 dogs were messing about (which is usual for them:rolleyes: ) when OH heard a yap and our poor bo (wee staffie) had went under the tractor tyre. He couldn't walk so everyone gathered up and into the vets, didn't know if he would even make it in.
OH was in an awful state yesterday because he was the one driving the tractor, there was nothing he could do the dog just loves tyres and we think he was messing around with the other dog and just wasn't watching the tractor. The vet rang yesterday after the x-ray and bo has 2 broken legs, 1 with 2 breaks and a broken pelvis. He stable at the minute but still in alot of shock, if he continues to be ok today they will operate tonight.
It's crazy the dog torments me with eating my garden furniture and bursting my tyres, but flip i can't stop crying even writing this has set me off. I'm just totally sick with it we really don't know if he'll make it let alone if he'll make a full recovery. PIL rang last night and it was so hard to keep it together because the dogs are like children to them and if they knew it would ruin their holiday, bo get a ham and cheese sandwich every morning from MIL. I'm up from just after 6 this morning just can't settle at all.
Sorry everyone for bringing the thread down, just can't stop crying.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
