Apple Braid is just being prepared !!! Used some of the dough for the apple braid and some for iced fingers for the kids.

Apple braid is actually misnamed at the moment - more like a fruit braid :) Nipped in to garden again and using up the red currents, white currents and black currents in the braid.

As soon as that is in the oven I will be doing HHI and trying to get on top of that !!

Best of luck with the flying pigpen!

Vanilla I'm so pleased that Bo is on the mend. Even OH who isn't a dog-lover has been asking after him, and said "Ahh" when he saw the pictures. :)

    Happy 30th Birthday Lil_me!

I have a headache from too much sleep again. Stayed awake late last night watching The Grudge (that's the problem with now having freeview in the bedroom), and I had to keep shaking OH awake to protect me cos I was scared. I jumped so hard at one point that I terrified the cat, and he disappeared out. We didn't get up til 11.45am!

OH loved the M&M cookies, and I may get around to making the carrot cake that I'd planned to do today if I feel more human later. Now wondering what to have for lunch - oh yeah, I've got some potato bread in the fridge - may have some of that hot with butter on. yummy yummy.

Hope all's well in the land of flying - welcome all new flybabies!

vanilla - i had no idea about Bo as i've not really been around this week. bless him.
tashja - am jealous you have a garden with goodies in!

I've done quite a bit of my list and WM sounds to have finished its first load (all the muddy walking clothes...) so once i've found and updated my list i'll go and stick the towels in.

we're going to nip to starbucks then for a coffee and cake, a bit decadent but DH deserves a treat as he's studying and I think i do after walking 30 miles! ;)

In the process of trying to declutter my bedroom so I'll see how much stuff I can get rid of.

Anyone want to do another HHC 1.45 - 2.15?

    Afternoon all

Vanilla - I had missed what happened to Bo - poor thing, I hope you wasn't driving.

Soup was delicious with toms, spring onions and basil all home grown. DS2 helped make it.

OH has started on the back hedge. Going to finish tidying in the kitchen and get the next wash out try to meal plan for a couple of days before going to the shops - decided on morrisions over waitrose.
