Mudbath, can you explain your "dry 10 mins and then hang"

    Thanks

Well I did hoover the matress too, and have managed in the 5 minutes to do the bottom sheet, pillow cases, and top sheet, but haven't managed to get the duvet cover in the case in time. I guess it'll take another 2 minutes to get that done. Will put my timer on again for 2 mins and see if I can do it.

Yip, if they don't do it I go in and start filling a bin bag for the charity shop. The first time I did it they didn't believe me until I hid the bag and said i'd taken it. After a few hours I gave them their stuff back and since then I just have to crinkle a bin bag. :rotfl: . They also have to pick up their age in stuff off the floor every bed time....so dd has to pick up 9 things and dd 7 things. Little and often and it never gets to bad. Mind you, they've suggested we do the same with DH's study as he is truly messy!!!! Maybe we should! Good luck xx

That sounds like a great plan!

Well the verdict is that it took me about 3 mins in the end to do the duvet - it took a whole minute to do up the stupid buttons on the bottom of it - poppers were so much easier!

So, in total, it took me 8 minutes to make the bed from scratch with fresh sheets, including hoovering the mattress first. Not bad! Will have to see if I can beat my personal best next week.

Cuppa definitely earned. Mother has called me up and asked me to go over and sort out all of the clothes that I left behind when I moved out - Argh!!! Suppose I have to, but don't know where I'm going to put it all. Need to do a carboot really but cannot find the enthusiasm to get everything prepared.
