Soappie G&B is right it's a Mathematics and Statistics Degree I was working towards, or backwards from :o I sat up until 3.30am studying, no further forward with TMA, sat until 4.30am crying and considering what to do next.

Lil-me - therein lies your problem (probably!). Staying up until 3.30am studying isn't doing you any good. The point of diminishing returns probably started around 1am. Maybe you should rethink your day if you can. Get to bed EARLY then get up a little earlier and spend half an hour, if you can, studying before anyone else is up and when your mind is fresh at the start of the new day.

But I give you big hugs anyway as well as the lecture. It doesn't surprise me that you're still in dormouse mode - you do SOOOOO much you must be permanently exhausted!

And I'll fess up. Part of my degree, as a mature student, was mathapratics and sadistics. The sadistics I just couldn't really get the hang of. But, I managed to pass the exam simply by guess work. It was computer based and I used my computer skills to click this option, that option, the other option simply because it sort of looked similar to the question. I was gobsmacked when I passed it. Talk about flying on the seat of your pants!

I know what you mean Soappie in any multiple choice exam we were always told NEVER to leave a blank - put an answer - especially as you can usually decide one or two answers are definite no-nos. That ups the odds of a right answer! I did a statistics unit for a course once - I still sweat about standard deviation! Mind you I also have a qualification in Atomic and Nuclear Physics (now doesn't THAT sound (and look) impressive) and I have got Law A - Level - funnily enough that's the one that impresses most people - and I can win arguments because I have such stunning sounding quals! Incidentally that's my only A-level. I did study Philosophy but that was when I was breaking up with the first Mr. Valli and I failed that exam. Hardly surprising, really.

Kaz - your choice - if he wants them clean he could always wash 'em himself. I mean, it's not like you have to haul 'em down to the river to rub 'em on a handy rock, now, is it? Bl***y hell - these new fangled washers make the job SOOOO easy. me I love it when DS decides he wants to wear what I havejust washed - because I wash overnight (Ecomomy 7) peg 'em out in the morning and he get up, spots them on the line - this is the best bit - ASSUMES THEY ARE DRY AFTER 5 MINUTES then irons them and wears them wet! Kids! Dontcha luv 'em!

Oh I am In STICHES! DS has just come of phone to GF (13) who has a little bro (10) who has gone to buy hair gel to spike his hair like my son. And his cousin is copying him too! My son ... setting examples to younger kids who think he is the best thing since sliced bread! Classic!
