most new laptops come with wireless... does yours?
you will need
a broadband connection
a wireless router
then assuming your laptop has wirelss you're all OK.0 -
it does, but what router, and what internet provider does wireless, or do they all do it0

all broadband suppliers support wireless... you must of course buy a wireless router however.
to get broadband you either need cable or a telephone (BT type ) telephone line.... many/most broadband suppliers will give a wireless router as part of their package..0 -
It's important to note that, despite what ISP's advertising would have us beleive, there is no technical difference between standard broadband and "wireless broadband." The only difference is that one has only a standard wired modem/router at the end of the phone line, and the other has a wireless-enabled router.
So all you need to do is choose an ISP you like (either ADSL, which requires a BT phone line, or cable i.e Virgin Media) , and get a suitable wireless router (2 basic types, one for cable, one for ADSL make sure it's right.)
Many providers will give you a free wireless router with a contract.
If your laptop has a wireless adapter (almost all new ones do,) you're good to go.
Edit: Clapton beat me to it!Russia is HERE0
