Yes, we can see what has occurred here.
You stuck your nose in someone else's business, decided to take it upon yourself to take offence on their behalf and thenceforth proceeded to write the greatest amount of claptrap I have ever seen on the forum.
Even though EVERYTHING you have written, including your so called 'technical advice' has been wrong, you continue to blather and bluster in the hope that somehow you can bluff people into believing that somehow all along, your plan was not to give any advice at all but to lure me into replying to your claptrap.
So that reveals you as a TROLL.
What's the matter, not enough Mac users on the forum and feeling lonely?
As I wrote earlier, you are a first class idiot and worse still, you sound like an American first class idiot.
Learn the ways of the British before you come on here spouting your claptrap.
We enjoy a good natured banter. We don't do that pseudo-offended 'let's sue for a million dollars' nonsense.
What's worse is that you have absolutely NOTHING to contribute to the thread.
You can't even help the OP, much like in the other thread.
If you cannot help, why are you posting in the threads?
I almost cannot believe that you are that stupid. Sadly it appears to be true. I pity your parents for producing such a dork.
Now hopefully, you can go and collect all of your toys and pack them away like a good girl. The adults are busy here.
YummyM2,
Please forgive me; Donnie was telling us all that you'd lost interest in the problem and I assumed from that you had.
I don't do PCs, I do Macs, so I cannot assist you personally with this Windows problem but I am sure that somebody else will - and will, hopefully, do so without resorting to the gratuitous offensiveness towards you that Donnie likes to deploy against everbody.
In the belief that this matter was concluded, and annoyed by the abuse that Donnie hurled at you, I decided to reveal him for just what he is.
Fortunately, he's such a fool that he assisted me to do it.
Dimmy,
You came back for more???
Man, you're even dumber than I thought you were (which is saying a lot).
You don't even understand what happened to you here, do you?
As a New York taxi driver once said to me about Danforth Quayle - you're short on smart and long on stupid.
And now you're overextended on getting away with discourtesy on here.0 -
I'm not sure if this a virus problem or not. It's just that I wouldn't expect it to 'kill' your PC.
So to keep it simple, we'll try to get a hold of a clean copy of MCE 2005 and try to figure out a simple way to back up your drivers before loading just in case.
Problem is I'm abroad at the mo. May be back at the end of the month.
Hopefully someone may be able to help before then.
Until then, you should create this Rescue CD using your new laptop.yummymummyoftwo wrote: »back to my post;)

Erm no..... didn't get up in the middle of the night. Had just got in. Thank you for your concern.
Spot your mistake?
Boasting? Isn't that someone who exaggerates for the sake of effect? Oh...that would be YOU.
Hey, I'm in a good mood(may be the effect from too much sun), so here are some pics for you.
Here's the view from my balcony:
The beach is around 30 metres away.
I guess your life is really boring, as you're spending your time trying to stalk me.
Just admit that you were trying to be smug in the other thread, posting a solution that the OP simply was not able to obtain.
Instead you embark on a crusade to try to prove me wrong and fail miserably.
Give it up.
Hang on, that's Eastbourne!! Look, on the first photo, right in the middle down the alleyway, you can clearly see a little old lady in a light blue cardigan with a zimmerframe!!:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
hi
its definatly not a virus as i did a full kaspersky scan before it died as it was so slow
also when you turn it on its a black screen saying that a file is missing or corrupt please insert xp disc and press r for repair
i cant even go in safe mode or any of the others on the list by f8
i have just bought a repair disc from ebay to try it
they say it fixes 99% of problems and for £6 its worth a try but knowing my luck ill be the 1%;)
also the copy of windows i need is £50 plus:eek:0 -
Can you send me a link to the disc that you have purchased? Go ahead and download and create the FREE rescue disc to which I have linked.0

You mean that I've been wasting my money flying halfway around the world when I could have just been going to Eastbourne.
PS. It's not an alleyway, it's the entrance and drive way to the car park.
Nice to see Leopard is still lurking. What a useless article. :rolleyes:0 -
and i'll see if i can do that link, thanks
i only ordered it last night so it will be a few days yet till i can try it but it does sound good from the advert
edit~~~~ just tried to do the disc and put it in the pc and nothing happened0 -
ym2, one reason often causing failure for accessing safe mode menu (F8) is using a usb keyboard, this often won't work as the bios may not support it and the windows drivers haven't loaded at taht point.
Check if u have a PS2 keyboard, this has a small round connector and will allow access to the menu.
Sounds like the hdd could be on its way out though, not a major problem, an 80Gb can be had for about £25.00.click here to achieve nothing!0 -

May I suggest that you are getting a little ahead of yourself?
Purchasing items and popping discs in the computer without instruction........ slow down.
You are supposed to put disc into the computer and re-boot. Tap 'enter' or 'Y' then 'enter' when asked 'Boot from CD'.0 -
still no joy either with the link disc or with the one i purchased from ebay
just going to have to wait and save up for the windows xp disc0
