I am considering buying a NETGEAR MP101 at Staples on offer at 49.99

But I have just read one of the threads on here and seen this one

But it sounds like the Linksys one is hard to setup.


Any experience of these, should I buy or is there a dynamite product around the corner I should be waiting for?????

A couple of quick observations.

1. The Linksys doesn't appear to have a display so needs a TV to operate. It does have photo view function if you're interested in having it, it also very cheap!

2. The netgear looks to be more focused on playing music, it *may* therefore offer better quality sound. It has a display which means you don't need to connect it to a TV.

Bear in mind that both these units require a PC somewhere on the network to be switched on and running the appropriate software.
