I'm looking for a portable device which will allow me to view pdf files while on the move (trains etc).
I've done a Google search and nothing convincing seems to come up.
Does such a device exist?
Thanks!

What mobile phone do you have?
I have a Nokia N80 and N95 - both have Adobe PDF installed on them to view PDF files.0 -
I don't have one of those phones - only a Samsung E900. As for a laptop, that's be the obvious answer but I don't think I want to spend £300 just to read some pdf's.
Ideally I'd like a palm sized device which costs no more than £100."To be ignorant of one's ignorance is the malady of the ignorant." Amos Bronson Alcott0 -
I know that there are ebook readers, but they're usually over 100 quid and use a proprietary format for books, but I don't know of anything other than a WAP/3G web-enabled mobile that would do the job.
Have you tried looking at the Adobe website? They might have something on there that could help.0 -

An iPod might work, forgot about that (easy to do as I don't own one): as long as Apple have got a version of Adobe Reader that will run on it.0

Windows mobile phone? They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
