I think the last thing he needs is more aggrandisement, when he's so into self-congratulation/self-promotion already.

i think its a good thing he has set up here and probally have stopped a lot of people hanging there selfs etc through debt .

Just a question though , Why does Martin always wear the same stripy shirt lol ? part of the money saving quest ?

I think that the best thing Martin has done is raise awareness and promote the idea that we should all be a bit more aware of our own situations. The basic advise to find the best deal etc encourages people to independantly find out if they could get better deals, from loans through to insurance through to electricity. This is a very good thing and has certainly changed parts of my life for the better.
The fact that he keeps massive money making corporations on their toes is no bad thing either, however anyone who can have their own website with such a smug photograph in the corner is frankly a bit too pleased with himself to be nominated for an MBE. Give him ten years to mature and become less smug (having children could help him no end...)and maybe he will be worthy of such praise!

Speaking of the photograph, what event is our glorious olympian entered into? Does he have a chance of a medal?

Smug? No idea what you're talking about, these are perfectly standard icons aren't they?

Thanks to Martin encouraging people who could not manage their bank account to reclaim the bank charges, in the near future there will be no such thing as free banking for all us people who can manage our finances and due to Martin encouraging people to consult a fee free broker then approach the lender direct there will be no fee free mortgage advice/brokers....
