WD external hard drive help

I bought a WD Passport 2.5' hard drive recently.
Do I need to anything like formatting before use.......
On plugging into my laptop it comesup so many options like autorun/setup etc.

There may have been some paper in the box with the hard drive these are called instructions

It is already pre-formatted, most likely FAT32. If you need to store large files e.g. greater than 4GB, you will need to reformat the drive to NTFS.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Reason for asking advice is because there is no proper instruction came with this hard drive.
It is not for joke.... if people dont know / dont want to tell, probably they can ignore replying!
No one asks how to plug the USB port into the computer?

Hi most external drives are suppose to be Plug & play...so plug it into your usb slot and click autorun when the pc asks you to...:D
I am fasinated by these drives...:D
