Internet connection question

Hi i cant seem to get a internet connection with my dynamode wireless router but can with beilkin 54, am i safe on line as it says it is a public network thanks

Sounds like you do not have wireless encryption set up, if so not safe!

got dynamode R-ADSL-C4-W-G1, i have had this router for several weeks and just cannot get it installed.

PC o/s with windows XP, with BT broadband. I follow all instructions to step 4 where you enter the following address http://10.0.0.2 and my pc just asks how I wish to connect to the internet. Only option given is my old modem. This is unplugged when I am trying to install the router.

So I just can access the configuring site. Any ideas please?
