Ibiza - Fist Choice accomodation allocated on arrival

Hello All.

We are going to Ibiza soon and got a deal from the first choice website which states that 3 star accomodation will be allocated on arrival.

I've not found many reviews on the internet. Just wondered if anyone else has been on a similar package to Ibiza? any comments on what I can expect

apparently theres a chance u can find out what hotel ur gunna get, just read the description of the hotel/area and looks for others similar or the same.
also copy and paste some of it in google see what comes up

how much u pay? i wanna go away late september

downs523, unless I'm missing something you won't get a resort or hotel description before you go as the whole point is that the accomodation is allocated on arrival

Nope, it's completely allocated on arrival.

I usually tell customers to get the brochure for that tour op and see what the standard they are booking looks like in their destination and advise they will be allocated acomm to a minimum of that standard but not necessarily something from the brochure. That's as good a guide as I can give. I'm actually legally not allowed to say any more or promise a thing with those hols. Cant promise a balcony, or a pool, or how far from the sea, transfer time, anything.

Think your getting confused with "Mystery" hotel bookings, sites like Lastminute.com and Priceline do. You know you are booking a hotel in a particular area, and it lists the facilities, but doesn't actually tell you the name of the hotel. But with some investigation it can often become obvious.

Allocated on arrival package holidays are different, you don't know anything until you arrive in the destination airport. All you know is you are going to Ibiza and the hotel will be one of their 3* ones.

OP, is it allocated on arrival across the whole Island, or have they narrowed it to a resort/area? If you at least know a resort you can usually narrow it down to a handful of hotels.
