Well without going into photoshop and other software, I find http://cooltext.com/ a decent site for knocking up simple logos.

There's rather a lot more to creating a good logo than having the correct software. Do you have any experience in design?

If not, reading a good book on the subject would be an excellent start.

i dont have an any experience in design :-(
i heard its very easy to do such things thats why trying my hand in it....

Well anyone can create a logo, but creating a good logo is a different matter. If you search for "logo design" on Amazon, you'll see there are quite a few books on the subject.
