Hello,
I have a bank account in Barcklays openned by my previous job, i openned recently an ISA saving account and notice that other banks have better interest rates. My ISA is at 4.55%, i put the maximum £3000 in.
I would like to know what kind of documents i will need to switch with another bank like Hallifax or Alliance and Leicester.
I do have prove of income, bank statement, driving licence, passport and monthly bill of an internet company (but no BT line) do you think it is enought?
thank you for all your answers

You need one document as proof of ID and one (different) document to prove your addressDocuments you can use to confirm your home address:- Bills – recent utility or council tax bills
- Official letters – UK solicitor confirming home purchase, benefits agency Statements – bank, building society, credit union, mortgage
- Others – council rent card, tenancy agreement
Documents you can use to confirm your identity:
• Current signed passport
• Current UK driving licence or a blue disabled driver’s pass
• EU member state ID card
• Residence permit (issued by Home Office to EU nationals)
• Benefit book or original letter from benefits agency (e.g. Pensions Service, Jobcentre plus, Child Benefit Office, etc)

Is it the ISA you want to switch?
If so make sure the second bank knows you want to move a balance from another bank from the start - you don't want them opening a second ISA and getting you in trouble with the taxman.0
