You could try carpet right. Dirt cheap...normally best to avoid the underlay (they seem to be more expensive than most)
They use local fitters...try their website for a further 10% off.

I tried to save money and did the whole house with carpet Right. It was cheap but worked out costly in the end, because the quality is not good and they look awful after only 1 year. If you never wear shoes in the house, have no pets and are really careful with a cup of coffee I would recommend them as it is so much cheaper. Although when I replace my carpeting I will get some from B&Q and get a fitter.0

I've recently been recommended a carpet company called https://www.ukcarpetsdirect.com and I've received samples from them. Their prices seem very reasonable.

Can you get to Kidderminster? There are lots of carpet outlets there, such as Brintons and Victoria Carpets. So many shoes, so little time....0

Do you have any department stores near you? Often they offer really good half price deals on quality carpets in their sales & if the total cost is over a certain amount, you get free fitting too. Allder's were great for this & it's where I always bought my carpets in the past. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
you will get a better alround deal form a small scale fitter
they might give you free u/lay gripper if you spend a certain
amount eg £500= free fitting & u/lay gripper & door bars
works out cheaper in the long run .0
