Still worth using the Virgin card for stoozing?

I applied for the Virgin card and it took ages to get it agreed. I have a 7k limit. Just seen Martin's article that says Virgin is no longer recommended for stoozing.

Question is, I have it now so is it worth doing or should I get rid and apply for a different one?

I still like the Mbna cards( Virgin is just one of) they are usually very good for repeat offers. I repaid my card at end of promotion, received letter offering 3.9% for six months, rang them and asked if they had any better and have £5.5k at 2.9% till april of next year. I did have to pay the fee, but still ahead rather than taking cash from 5.4% savings to pay. Low repayments on Mbna cards £5 plus interest £13 approx in my case... Mr C has had even better offers and has £17k at moment at 1.9% till June.

I agree with Carefully. Virgin is still a good card, a £50 balance transfer fee has been introduced which stopped it from being the best. With 7k in an ISA you make this back in just over 50 days with interest.

You have had a credit search and gained a credit card now, you should make use of this in my opinion
