By default, The password to the Linksys routers is admin in lowercase letters with no username.

I just tried that and a window pops up saying the server 192.168.1.1 at 'router or network name' requires a username and password. Then it says Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection).
