Estate Agents - Glasgow - Recommendations?

Hi,
I'm selling my river front flat which overlooks the Armidillo in Glasgow. I've never sold a property before and I was looking for any recommendations for the best Glasgow estate agents who sell city centre properties?

Thanks very much for you help in advance :T

  • I cant really recommend anyone but I have to say that your move are easily the worst estate agent Ive been involved with

Avoid them like the plague, they made up viewers and basically told me lies several times about viewers

(e.g. was advised that a potential buyer had left the country to live abroad then saw them in the office literally a week ago!)
  • Hi, we used Clyde Property when we sold our house in Stirling.

It was some years ago now but we were very impressed with the service and the little colour floor layouts they do.

You have to decide whether you would rather have a solicitor selling your property through gspc, or an estate agent who uses rightmove. I used gspc last time I sold and liked having my solicitor also acting as an estate agent - also liked the fact that they have a call centre to organise viewings outwith business hours. Other than that, get some of the EAs out to give you a quote and see what you think.
  • i would avoid gspc at the moment. to be honest in the difficult market the wee girlies working in the call center arent really set up to market your property and negotiate with buyers. i have used clyde in the past and am using slater hogg at the moment. can really recommend either. fantastic negotiators, really on the ball with communication and chasing down leads. i've been astonished at the amount of work slater hogg have put in for me, when all they'll get is about 1.5k when i sell.
