AVOID VANQUIS VISA CARD I got an application form through the post for the Vanquis Visa Card offering me 58.6% APR on a credit limit of £250.00. Also between 44.2% and 69.1% APR on purchases. Plus an annual fee of £19. You would be mad to touch this!! Watch out!!

A friend showed me a letter he received today offering him a Vanquis Visa card with a annual fee of £19 and get this, at 58.6% APR!!! :eek:
I nearly fell off my chair!
They are trying to get people with poor credit and CCJs to get one promising that it will and I quote "Build a strong credit rating"

I got stuff thro the post yesterdy for this card. One wonders if they are getting the credit card application infor from one of the other companies??????????????
I phoned and asked what else they were known as and they said "Nothing else" only vanquis.No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

I too received a Vanquis application yesterday and a Provident offering me a cash loan.
Anyway my shredder was on hand and if these company's wish to continue sending me this information I am happy to keep shredding. Excellent for starting my fire in the drawing room!0 -
