Just taken delivery of one of these, have flicked through terms and conditions booklet that the card came with.
Cant find any mention of Cash Advance fee being applied to gambling transactions, could someone pleese confirm whether or not gambling/betting tranactions attract a cash advance fee to this card.

I would of thought those transactions would be put through as cash advances. Best bet is to ring their customer services.0

Can't get to the T&C's for your particular card (even after going through a dummy Premier current account application...they only show you the summary box  ), but the current Virgin (MBNA) T&C's (your should be exactly the same) say...bristolleedsfan wrote: »Cant find any mention of Cash Advance fee being applied to gambling transactions, could someone pleese confirm whether or not gambling/betting tranactions attract a cash advance fee to this card.
1. You will be charged a 3% (min £3) fee for 'cash transactions'.
2. They define a 'cash transaction' (in section 16) as, amongst others, a "gambling transaction".0 -

The chargeable call will be much less than the fees that you could incur by using the card for gambling transactions. Cash Advances are not adviseable unless you have money to burn.
Check out www.saynoto0870.com for a non-chargeable number.0 -

Gambling is in the same APR bracket as Cash Advance. It's usually the highest APR on any cc. It would incur interest on a daily basis from the very day of the transaction right up til the day it's paid off. As Gambling/Cash Advance has the highest interest rate, if you are on different APRs on purchases and BTs, then this Gambling/Cash Advance balance would be trapped by the payment allocation system and would be the VERY LAST to be paid off.0
