Which Digisender to connect to PC?

Help please!

I would like to buy a digisender or similar so that I can watch TV on my PC.

I have a Virgin, Samsung box and a Dell Dimension 5150 PC which has Media Center installed. However, none of the digisenders specify the connection to a PC, only TV.

The only connections I can see are as follows, taken from the user manual

4 surround connector Use the black surround connector to attach multichannel-capable speakers.

5
line-in connector Use the blue line-in connector to attach a record/playback device such as a cassette
player, CD player, or VCR.
On computers with a sound card, use the connector on the card.
6
line-out connector Use the green line-out connector (available on computers with integrated sound)
to attach headphones and most speakers with integrated amplifiers.
On computers with a sound card, use the connector on the card.
7
micro-phone/side
surround connector
Use the pink and silver connector to attach a personal computer microphone for
voice or musical input into a sound or telephony program.
On computers with a sound card, the microphone connector is on the card.

I also have a wireless router (Belkin). Will this interfere with it?

There are some ideas here (about half way down the page):

Alternatively, if you have access to an aerial and can get a good signal, a Freeview card or USB dongle would be an option, and they aren't too expensive these days.

The wireless router should not cause interference problems.

I was referring to a USB-connected freeview tuner such as those by Hauppauge, not to a USB connected video sender.

However, had you considered something like this:

It has composite & s-video inputs that can be used with a cable STB, and connects to the PC via USB.

You don't need access to a TV aerial, as long as your cable box has got composite or s-video outputs. Have you checked to see if it has?
