HELP! Suggestions for a fridge freezer to go in a garage

Hi all,
I am looking for a new upright fridge freezer to go in the garage,
I have a whirlpool chest freezer at the moment, which is five years old and is still working fine,
However my Beko larder fridge, which is four years old and was second hand is on its way out. So looking to replace them both with a upright fridge freezer, to gain some extra space in the garage and also my two eldest daughters have now left home so don’t need the big chest freezer,
But I have read on some other posts that with the temperature falling over the winter months fridges and freezers in any outer buildings don’t work as they should or even stop working, is this right?
So what I thought was going to be an easy job has turned into confusion
If anyone has any suggestions on the right fridge freezer to go for or can help in anyway then please let me know,
Much appreciated
Jayne
