Can i buy a satelite dish smaller than 100cm for =

Help please,

I am after purchasing a Conax receiver and Digitalb 12 month subscription so i can watch the football.

I am based in Manchester area and the dish has to be at EUTELSAT W2 16 DEGREES EAST

I dont wanna buy a massive 4ft dish or whatever 100cm will be. Will i receive a signal through a smaller dish ???????

hmm.... might be able to get away with a 70cm... which was the size of an old sky dish..
i know it says 50cm.. but personally.. i wouldn't risk that small..

The dish is a sort of scoop / collector for the weak signal. The signal travels from earth to space and back to you, something like 44,000 miles. This is already weak and you live in Manchester which does not help. The further north you go a bigger the dish is required. Check with your installer and other users in your area. Dont forget with digital you either have a signal or you don't so a poor signal will not be seen by the decoder.
Can you not see the footy on some of those free web sites?

yes i use myp2p.eu and livefooty but the quality is poor. i would like a clear view on big screen. Do you know of any clear picture websites

I use a 90cm motorised dish here in N Yorks -- Note the dish is a SOLID lensen heath which is better than Mesh dish -- Dave
