Halifax 5.06% savings

This may be of interest to some folks here. I saw when passing my local Halifax branch today that they are offering 5.06%, fixed for 6 months on their Guaranteed Reserve account. Mininum investment is £1000 & no withdrawals during term of account ( choice of 1,2 or 3yr).
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
