Hi WDBF, I've made a few comments as if for BR, not sure how it works with I&E for CCJ, whether you would be expected to cut back more? Sure someone else more knowledgeable will be along soon.

You haven't added anything for school dinners, swimming/dancing/music lessons, 1 each per child (if they do them).

Also when working out your surplus some of your benefits can't be taken into account, such as child benefit, can you list what the benefits are. And what is the 'other income'?

I second Peachy's comments. Also you need to add an allowance for optical, dental and prescriptions.

They will be a lot tighter on the I&E for a CCJ compared to the OR I think. :undecided

Definitely separate out the Child Benefit component from the other benefits. The I&E sections on the courts N9A/C admission forms ask you to put this separately. Child benefit is paid for the benefit of the children only, so even the court should not take it into account when they are looking at your surplus income.

the water board issued a bill and that is that is what the monthly amount was, we live in a 4/5 bed det. house and npower worked out our monthly bill to be about 145 for dual fuel. our kids dont do any swimming/drama clubs etc. (as of yet anyway!) i have taken away holiday fund. we dont use the car for work, i use a van (were self employed.) its for 2 mobiles, needed in our self emplyment. and the other income is child benefit.

For 2 mobile this is high, I take it they are contracts, can you change to PAYG?

£550 for child benefit? It can't be, this would only be £217 for 4 children.
You really need to separate out all your benefits and other income.

What is the value of the car? if this isn't being used for work the OR is likely to take it as it isn't essential.
