A budget can be defined using any of the following definitions http://www.google.com.au/search?num=100&hl=en&pwst=1&defl=en&q=define:budget&sa=X&oi=glossary_definition&ct=title, but what is actual expenditure called?

If you let us know why you're asking the question, there might be more sensible answers.I can spell - but I can't type0 -

I thought so. It is for the purpose of personal financial budgetting. The only terminology I have seen regarding budgetting is the word budget. I haven't seen the word 'actual' or 'actuals' documented anywhere, which makes me wonder if this term is widely used and defined to mean the actual amount of money recieved or spent in a given period of time. Also, in setting up a personal budget, I wanted to make sure that I was using the 'correct' or widely-accepted terminology for actual income and expenses in a budget.0
