I wouldn't even want to freeze them if they are 'brown and horrible" - surely if they are that bad you don't have to ask.0

I over dramatised (as usual!) they are just starting to go a bit brown instead of being nice plump green ones. And I appreciated all the useful suggestions made before, thanks everyone.0 -
My lovely grandparents bought me a huge bunch of grapes yesterday (as I'm ill and that's what you give people who are ill...)
Problem is, while I don't mind them and would nibble one or two, I'm never going to eat a big bunch and OH doesn't like them.
Can I do anything with them? (don't suggest making wine lol!) I can't really think of grape recipes off the top of my head but there must be something. Even though I didn't pay for them I'd obviously rather not waste them.0 -
You don't have to eat the whole bunch in one go; they can last a fair while in the fridge.
I use them for wine; but you can also press them and make grape juice which is lovely. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Hi daisiegg,
They freeze well, but don't defrost well but it's fine to use frozen grapes in smoothies or just sucking while still frozen.
This thread has more ideas:
what can i do with a bagful of grapes?
And this one has advice on freezing grapes:
Freezing Grapes???
I'll add your thread to the first link later to keep the suggestions together.

Thanks for the ideas. I don't like them enough to eat them even over a few days.0

In the spirit of Halloween, we used to get toffee grapes on cocktail sticks instead of toffee apples. Yum. Also you can frost them by coating in whisked egg white and rolling in caster sugar.:)0
