its grape season and I've been given 2 large carrier bagfuls, one small seedless green grapes and one bag of big fat juicy purple ones with seeds. we've eaten soooo many, but they will go bad soon. I know i can freeze them and eat frozen, but are they ok if defrosted? Is there anything else i can do with them?

You could roast them and have with pork or duck or something as a vegetable. In the olden days (!) we used to deseed them with a "Kirby" hairgrip just for this purpose. Don't remember many seedless grapes being around in the seventies........!0

I suppose an obvious would be wine, or heres a couple of sites with recipies that might inspire:

We eat them frozen (we don't defrost them) , it's a great snack for kids, especially on a hot day!0

yes, still frozen are lovely especially if you drop them into a jug of fruit juice as 'ice cubes' to chill the juice with.I like a large jug of orange and pineapple juice in the summer with some frozen white grapes into chill.
Also mixed fruit juice with chopped mint is delicious and refreshing on a really hot day. Tomato juice is especially nice with tiny bits of chopped mint and ice cubes0 -
Hi
Last Q for now and then can hopefully answer some posts in return. I have some grapes going a bit brown and horrible but not mouldy yet! I want to try and use them but unappetising in their current state. Thought of putting some in with jelly for the kids, any other ideas as I have a big bunch?

I often freeze grapes, if I got aload and no-one seems to be eating them.

My son made one at school in 'food tech' or as I like to call it 'cookery' it had 1 banana, 1 kiwi and a handful of grapes plus some apple juice. was a revolting colour by the time it got home, but he enjoyed it;)0
