I live in London, in a 3 bed terraced house (1 bathroom) and have been quoted £2800 for un upgrade of my old Baxi Back boiler behind firepace to a combi Worcester - Bosch 25si with 2 years warranty. New pipes will be fitted, removal of old water cylinder and boiler will be installed where the water cylinder is. Plus water tanks in the loft will be drained and removed if possible (due to size of access) and a power flush, duration of work is due to take around 3 days. Is this is a fair price? so far have got 4 quotes British Gas quoted me £4700 and the others around £3200. Plus am being offered 2 year free service after installation .
