Credit cards for students

Hey all,

I just have a simple question, how willing are credit card companies on giving money to students? I am looking to get into the stoozing trade as a student, but Im a bit worried that I simply wont be able to get a credit card.
I know nationwide would probably give me one, but I need an egg card really, does anyone know if they would give a card out to students?

I have read Egg will consider credit card applications from students tho for most students with a low(ish) income the credit limit is going to be less than those given to someone employed full time.

I have an Egg card and so do two other students i know. its quite a low limit though.

Only the big banks have dedicated student accounts and then don't offer introductory 0% deals.

Would your parents consider letting you manage a stooze for them and you taking the profits? Or are they already at it?

Well...I have gotten an egg card with £500 limit. Wow, so much :-)

Question is will the other cards let me...

We shall see :-)
