Money4banners for real?

  • I applied and got rejected. They sent me an e-mail saying they regret to inform me that my application has been rejected.....

"Reason: Already a Member: You are already a member of one of our networks."

I'm not sure what this means as I have never applied for one of their programmes before. I have got some banners for photography shops on my site, but these were all done through Tradedouble, definitely haven't got any money4banners or bucks4 banners or whatever they call themselves these days!

Is is worth applying again in a few weeks or should I just forget it?

Hiya, I'm thinking of doing this. What's the content of the banners that they put on your website ? My website is geared towards horses and animals in the main and I dont fancy putting X-rated banners on the website.

Can I just send one word of warning. There are criminal networks that use these networks to buy ads to spread malware. What happens is when someone clicks on the ad it downloads malicious code on to their computer. It can be come part of a botnet, download a keylogger or distribute spam and illegal material. We had one victim that had their door knocked down at 4am because his infected computer was distributing child abuse images.

    Just be careful please

i was asking whether they would accept a freeweb site or a blog to advertise on, like they pay me £5 for a banner on my blog. or it had to be a hosted .co.uk/ .com etc....

Don't worry i am not an internet predator!

  • I am signed up with the ad network which is the same thing. I get £5 a month for three ads. They are for price comparison sites for insurance.

I have found that sometimes they don't bother to tell you that you've been rejected, either that or their email doesn't get through.

Log into your account and see if the site is still listed in pending URLs.
