I desperately want my bathroom done. Nothing more than a change from a coloured bathroom suite to a plain white one although a glass and chrome bowl style basin unit, white tiles and a wall which I'm going to wallpaper with an evening shot of the San Francisco skyline!!!!!

Yes, I'm going over the top with the wall just because I bloody well love that city and can think of nothing better than lying back in my new bath, some candles and the skyline and my dreams of SF!

Cheers! I've mentioned my ideas to a few people and they all sound really uncertain and do their face when I talk to them about it! I've seen the wallpaper used in some offices where it works really well, so with the bathroom I'll have to make sure everything else is really plain and make a feature of the skyline wallpaper which will be above the tiled area which is to about 4 ft.

Will also have to make sure the lighting effect is just right for it too.

So, basic white bath and toilet, glass and chrome basin unit, large black gloss style floor tiles, white wall tiles and my wallpaper! :rotfl:

Sod 'em its your bathroom and you can do what you want-IMHO it sounds lovely,really classy, monochrome sorta 1920's and modern at the same time? am i close to your vision?!!!!

Ooooo i think that sounds like a fab idea. Something to really relax you when you are soaking in the bath.

Im rubbish at arty type stuff. I have an idea in my head for my bedroom in my new house (hahaha!) but i just cant see how it would work. :rolleyes:

Change jar money is safely in the bank, so i now shouldnt go in debt in my account and may actually be in credit for payday :eek:

Well dont laugh but i was watching the kylie concert at the O2 on Sunday and she did a set with japanese style stuff. It was mainly black with pink cherry blossoms (which is what I have on my back) and i love it. So idea was to have very light walls (cream or something) with one wall with japanese style wallpaper. And then matching furniture - somehow.

But i dont want it to look like a 70s p0rn stars home! :rotfl:

Will need to iron out the details I think.

That sounds good-my sis has just painted her living room a light cream with one wall in a japanese style green wallpaper and it looks good. I reckon your idea would look brill you could have black furniture against the light walls so it wouldnt look to heavy.

Thats a good idea. Im not 100% on the black idea, so it could well just be white or light. not sure.

Would help if i got a house first though! :rotfl:
