    Evening All

Oooooo bet you enjoyed driving that Mini MM... i had a dream last night that I had a Mini  :rotfl:

Well i did the bootfair this morning. Was freezing and drizzly all morning, and i made £3.50  :rotfl: Nevermind eh!!!

I came home, had a bath and snuggled with my cats all afternoon, twas great.

And I have decided I want a new sofa as mine is so old and rubbish, so that will be the first thing i get when im interest paying debt free (Christmas sales should be a good time!)

And i have also decided what im going to decorate my bedroom like when i get a house! I guarantee it will change within the next 2-3 years but nevermind!

Hi everyone, I'm at a standstill tonight, trying to figure out what to do next to increase the savings.

Ebay's fees are going up (as if they're not high enough already) so that's putting me off listing, and what I have got listed isn't selling.

Haven't been on slp for ages, waiting for all my mb money to settle to see if it's worth carrying on with that, done a couple of comps today, can;t get into writing reviews.

Sorry for the moan, I could do all of it if I just put my mind to it...

Sounds like you had a nice day jen and mm. We went to the sealife centre which was nice and used bogof voucher even better. Also had a chinese and am enjoying a bottle of wine now (not very dfw but never mind)

  • Hi guys, hope you are enjoying the fact that the weekend isn't over yet!!!

I am soooo sick of moving! Doesn't help that we went out last night and I couldn't move without feeling like throwing up until 2pm! As a farewell the neighbourhood organised a beating outside of the restaurant when we were eating and then an attempted robbery and death threats on the way home. Cops got called for both incidents so we had to do statements for both.

I was really naughty today too - we went to John Lewis and I ended up spending £72 on new bedding! OUCH! Have only ever bought from Argos and Asda up until now but decided that it was our housewarming present to ourselves!

OH and flatmate are currently moving the freezer, then we have one more load tonight, sleep here tonight then do the final load with fridge and TV tomorrow. Then the fun of unpacking starts!

OK, must drag myself away from X factor and go upstairs to pack stuff from the bathroom - wish me luck!

Aussie, I remember moving!! Not doing it again for a while. I also remember trying to do it with a hangover!!

Jen I think the fees are increasing end aug, can't remeber exact date. They say it's making things better but I'm sure it doesn;t. I'm 99% positive I read fvf will rise from 7.5% to 9.9% which is a big jump.

I have lots of targets I want to reach and the 2k is the first which is for getting married. I'm thinking I'll give myself till next summer to raise it, but the sooner the better as I want to book something by new year when we know where we are with our new mortgage rate.

    What are you saving for?

I'm off to put some washing away and have a think about how to raise more money etc and then I'll be back.

  • Yeah, hangover was not the best idea I've ever had! We'll have do it all over again when we move back to Australia next year, but at least some of it has been gone through now and a lot of junk thrown out! It amazing the carp that you can collect in 4 years, even when we only rent a room in a share house! we are on the 4th car load at the moment!

And yes we will be online at the new place, I'll be sticking around here!

    Back soon!
