My sister worries what others think, but I'm the complete opposite and should probably care a bit more.
I really can't wait to have my own house, I love this one http://www.propertyfinder.com/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=o&id=503830079&f=90&p=10&t=res&ty=&fmt=&header=&cc=®ionid=&tb=&c=48021384&tm=1224261305 it's quite cheap for where it is and the rooms are all quite big. I've almost got 1% of it, my boyfriend thinks that probably equates to small corner lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Yukki -- smsinn is definitely worth doing (so is Cashinco, which is its sister site but you can earn cash there), I've had about £45 amazon vouchers this year - minimum payout is only £5 though clicks take two months to clear. I can PM my referral if you'd like to join? x0

Yes please CL that would be great. Then I can refer someone else if they want to join and so on0

If you have loft rooms are they extra bedrooms even though it's a one bedroom?
I only paid 4k more than that for my 3 bed house 2 years ago. It's silly how areas affect the prices isn;t is.0 -
Wow nichellete that seems expensive for a one bed apartment though I do like the outside... but then I'm in the North East so house prices are generally lower here. Here you could expect to get a really big old terraced house for £180k. Like this one...

They have radiators and windows yukki, so that was exactly my thought. It would be more like living in a house than a flat, and I've always had a strange love of loft rooms.
In a lot of ways I wish I'd been born up north because I know how much cheaper it is. I could never move there now though because I'd get really homesick. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Wow! That's exactly what I mean about being born in the north CL, that's a lovely house
.
I have a friend who lives in Margate, he used to live in an amazing three storey double fronted victorian house with bay windows everywhere. It had so many spare rooms, his old one was probably as big as the entire downstairs of my house. I was so jealous lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Yukki if you join SMSinn please refer meNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

Yeah, I know what you mean about the North - I guess it seems like a lot to me because I have lived here all my life and can remember how cheap it used to be! To me, £180k for a terraced house here is still very high :S So when I see the prices of a flat down south, it seems shockingly high!
ETA: I love this one, it's in a nice area too right near the beach. They used to be selling for well over £220K in 2006 so prices are definitely falling.
