    i need your advice mm!!

when you change from your old account to a & l did you have to cancel all the direct debits and standing orders from your old account? my new account should be up and running next week wages should go into it and everything should come out of it if i don't cancel it all with my old account i will end up paying twice!!? is that right? do i cancel then!!

A & L haven't sent me a pin for the phone and internet banking so the only thing i know now is i have £0 in my A & L account coz i checked with the debit card?? i am confused!!

  • Def not giving up Jen because i can drive, i'm just making silly mistakes and cracking under the pressure. Nect test is booked so just going to keep at it. My friend took her 7 goes to pass, so i have a way to go before i give up.

I seem to have given up on MBM though, i still need to get £10 then i will be entitled to my £35 payout. I might log on actually, see if the bingo site ever paid my cashback to mbm.

Well done on all the savings so far Jen, you are doing great. Im soooo jealous.

  • Are MBM just slow generally? because i did the King Jackpot sign up at the beginning of August, yet i'm still yet to receive comfirmed payment from then, its still pending. So i only have the King Jackot £15 to come, and the £10 from sign up bonus. So need another £10 to make it reach £35 for the payout. I may cheer myself up and have a go at some bingo, you never know, i might just win big.

I regretfully inform you that we experienced a technical error, and the email was sent to you by mistake. I apologise sincerely for the disappointment, and will instead be sending you an alternative Christian music CD on behalf of Premier as a token of our apologies.

lmao at your 'win' jen...sorry-that has got to be the worst prize ever and then not to get it pmsl!!!!!!!
Oh bum Hayley -hope you get the better examiner next time, hopefully you will be so relaxed after your hols that you wont care!
jen, i would leave your direct debits as they are, it does take a while for them to transfer them to the new account so if you cancel they might not get paid-i would perhaps give a&l a ring just to double check that and to ask about your pin number etc, i did have to contact them once as they hadnt sent one piece of sign on info i think.

hmmm not sure jen-perhaps ring them tonight or tomorrow (if they are open-not sure) or phone the companies taking direct debits directly to explain the situation and give them your new details?
