The 'I want it NOW!!' debt/savings thread

I'm def not giving up, forked out over £3k on lessons, i know 3K its shocking. Thats due to have so many rubbish instructors. I've just booked another, no space until November, so its on the 7th November, eekk!!! Lets hope i don't get the dragon again lol.

I failed on her telling me to go when i was blocking a junction, my mind was a bit all over the place this morning, couldn't conentrate. As soon as i heard her speak i knew i'd failed, it was horrid. I got 11 minors which was shocking as before i only got 3!! But my instructor said everybody that has her gets around 14 and they pass, so i shouldn't be too disheartened. She's just a mean moo who gives you minors for everything. At one point i was scared to breathe incase i got a minor, thats how often she was marking them down on the pad lol.

Yeah i posted a thread in the tax section and they say i should of got it as my tax code changed yet no refund. I'm not in work today so i will email them on Monday, they are useless when you call them.

Oh God she sounds horrendous. Luckily all 3 of my examiners were really nice, the 2nd one was gutted he had to fail me, he really was so sorry. I cried :rolleyes: 7th November, thats not long really. Just before christmas. Dont worry, i dread to think how much money i spent on my lessons. I did around 10 each year from when i was 18-22 and then last year i did them every week from January until October when i passed. :eek:

Fingers crossed they sort the extra ££ out for your next week Hayley. xx

I go to Alton Towers on Sunday morning, and stay over Sunday night, and have Monday there too. Come home, and I have booked Tuesday off work, so a nice long weekend.

Yeah, last time i waited a few months, because of holidays etc and limited space in the summer. Now its only just over a month so not too bad. But my test is the day after i get back from Las Vegas, so lets hope i'm not too tired.

I hope so Amy, could do with the extra ££, especially paying for more driving lessons and tests this month. Just forked out another £56.50 on a test. Paid £100 this morning for lessons this morning etc. I'm starting to work out why i'm not debt free yet, £200 a month goes on driving lessons etc.

That sounds great Amy, Monday sould be really quiet too so you can go on lots of rides. have a great time x

oh just check quidco and i have £80.20 recieved so i will get that this momntha nd add it so my savings!! oh my god i was wondering if i could get 2k by xmas!! lol i will have 2K by the end of the month!!

I've got just over £30 from Quidco coming this month, and £30 I think from GP (can leave that one then), just withdrew £39 from paypal that I forgot about, and enquired to Homepagefriends about my £22 owing. If I get all that I'll be happy.
Well it'll pay for some xmas bits like I said above lol but even so

Ooo I have just had lots of small things received on Quidco (things that i wasnt expecting until next month!). Have £17 received, just waiting for Vernons to be received as well (fingers crossed!)

Blimey, my boss has given me another load of stuff to do. best get cracking. At least it will make the day speed by!
