  • I know- i cant wait!!!!! will celebrate by spending my £20 quidco money on a new pair of jeans so i dont look like a bag lady, hopefully more will be recieved so i can buy a top as well, could get arrested otherwise!

:rotfl: @ getting arrested! About time you treated yourself MM. I have been buying around 2 DVDs a month. The most i have spent on them has been £5 from play.com so its all good. Slowly building up my collection. I think i have about 10 now ;)

I am going clothes shopping in the sales as i need some more work things, and hoefully i will have lost the 1/2 stone I want to. Over Christmas though, so i doubt it.

Ah yes, another exicting day at work :D Have done all of my bits and bobs, as i thought it would take me ages.

Getting a bit worried now as we keep getting phone calls about overdue invoices from May/June/July/August. This is what happened to my last work just before i got made redudndant.

  • I'm sure your job will be fine Amy-dont worry yourself about it, i think a lot of places are just hanging on to their money as long as they can before paying their bills, i find even with my little business i'm waiting a month where as before it would be in a few days after the sale.
Well done on your dvd's bargains!! I need to lose about half a stone (and the rest lol) to fit into a pair of trousers i bought for work that i now cant fit into -oops! Wish i had Jens motivation to lose weight! still -i'm going to go out and buy dog food and take the mutt out for a walk,exercise..woo-hooo lol.
I'm a lot more motivated on doing clicks and cashback sites now ive decided that it will be to treat myself with instead of savings!!

Fingers crossed for my job lol

I find if i think too much about loosing weight i dont, but if i just change certain things in my diet that really helps (like bringing my lunch into work, instead of having the temptatino of McDs etc.!).

Good idea about the cash back etc. Makes it seem worthwhile when you know you can treat yourself with it.

I walk to and from work (from the station) which is about 30 mins each way, this morning i was stiff as i had been off most of last week and so hadnt done the walking. At least I know its making a difference.

    ;)

  • Afternoon all :)

I've got absolutely nothing done today (again!) - I made a list last night of stuff that I need to do but can't face any of it. I have college tonight and as usual I feel sick with nerves. I thought the nerves would die down after a few lessons but they haven't. I'm thinking about asking the doc for something to calm me but I'm not sure he'd give me anything? :S

thats a good walk amy and at least now you have proof it works!! i've just made myself sarnies for tomorrow as my place of work is 2 mins away from a burger van that does fried egg sarnies,a maccyd's and a fish and chip shop!! and i have zero will power!

cl-have you tried bachs rescue remedy? it worked for me on my driving test, apart from that it depends if you drive to the course-if not they might poss prescribe you a low dose of valium (diazapam) my doctor gives it to me for my dentist phobia, but im not sure if you can get it for 'weekly' use. Might be worth a visit just to discuss your options though.
You are doing so well to even sign up for the course let alone have been twice -you have a lot of admiration from me!

I was just going to mention Bachs Rescue Remedy too. Its very good, and i give it to my cat Monty when he is in for a long car journey (my vet recommended it when i had to take them both to a specialist over an hour away).

I would try and keep at it CL, you have done so well so far. xx

I have no will power either MM. I try not to go out at lunchtime so that I dont end up spending anything. And I have just had another NSD today. :D

    xx
