The 'I want it NOW!!' debt/savings thread

Thanks everyone. I'm so proud of myself, as sad as that sounds. Definitely going to take baby steps... I have a few goals, the course being number one. I really want to learn to drive, it'll help so much as I am terrified of public transport! I panicked last time my mum took me out in the car, now she refuses to take me. Also would love to be working part-time by xmas but think that's a bit too ambitious. I have to get the money together to pay for the course though... But luckily I don't need to pay until November. I don't want to touch my ISA savings and don't qualify for discounted study.
Does anyone have an idea of how much it costs per minute to call a mobile from a landline? We're with Telewest if that helps! Brother got me to call his mobile from the landline as he had no credit and was on the phone quite a while0 -
sorry no idea how much. any ideas on what job you want to do part time? some will be easier for you to do then others maybe you should start with something that doesn;t involve the public to much like cleaning?:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heart

Not sure really... are there any jobs that don't involve people and/or telephones?Hmm, I know Royal mail always advertise for xmas temps... Not sure about cleaning, it's my worst nightmare but then money is money.

I used to be a cleaner and hated it! Depends how much you need to earn- what about Avon or something like that , yes it's dealing with the public but your in control of when you do it.0
