    Have done the download.
The icon is now on my menu bar but when I click on it to look at the channel list it is mostly question marks.
By trial and error I am now getting a chinese speaking channel by clicking on the ?????? and I am getting a picture and sounds in Windows Media Player.
I was hoping to watch Everton today, never mind at least we won.

    What am I doing wrong?
    Any advise would be appreciated.

  • You can goto the program list online to get the playing channels. With pplive installed, the links will associate to pplive and start playing automatically.

Or you can go here if you can't get the software working.

When you click on the icon there will be a option to 'SWITCH LANGUAGE' which should change the channel list into English. I watched the Boro game and we lost, oh well :(.

I tried this on Sunday and was connected to about 14 peers. When it loaded above 90% Windows media player opened up but it took an age to buffer to 100% (about 20 mins), then there was just a blank blue screen.

I dont know whether I can be bothered trying again today.

Right click on the PPLIVE icon and select RELOAD/RESTART PLAYER until it starts to fill the buffer up faster. I sometimes need to do this 3 or 4 times to get it working properly.
  • all i get is your" current channel has left please reselect"
well i reselected them all and got the same message
is it me? or is it the program?
  • If you want to watch live premiership football, cricket, wwf, movies, tv programms etc. then visit the site below, it is by far the best site. The Man Utd Arsenal Game is on channel 4. You will have to pay £3.50 p/m, but its definately worth it, just have a look.

Hi deadwood - Thanks for the info. Actually your link did not work for me, but then went to the home page. Looks interesting, but as I am in the middle of getting BB (which I assume you would need for these streamed programmes, will have to wait to try it out. Can you tell me what size of picture you get, because if it is one of those tiny ones, like the joke vids. I get sent, then that would be too much hassle. If it comes up as full screen, that would be a different matter!
This is the link I copied for the home page :

    "0844 COSTS YOU MORE"
  • The picture u get is available in full screen, some streams are better than others in regards to quality but i do like the fact that alot of them have english commentary sometimes its even sky sports commentators!

All in all took me a couple of attempts to get used to it but well worth it, free football what more can u say!

    :T

Thanks for updating the link, oops not the best at this sort of thing!
