Hi everyone,
I have to addresses listed on my electoral roll information on my credit report, is this normal?
Out of the two addresses 1 is my current address and the other is an old address. HOWEVER the listing on my old address says - 10/2006 to current register.
Should u contact someone to have it removed?

You should contact the council responsible for the old address to have your name taken off the electoral register for the property you no longer live at.
Its highly likely that the new resident has not ticked the box to remove you.0 -
As long as your current address and electoral status are recorded correctly, credit applications will not be affected.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0

Yes it's normal to have a previous address on your credit file as it will be linked to your new address.
However your current address should still be displayed correctly so you will have to talk to the CRA to sort it.
When entering your new address on the electoral role with the council you did ask for your old address to be removed I assume ? Most forms will have a box to tick to remove it as it is possible to be on the electoral role at more than one address.0 -

If you move from a different council area the new council electoral role form asks you to put your old address so they can notify the old council area.
If they don't your name should drop off anyway after October/November when the annual register is printed as the new occupants should cross your name of the electoral role form.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Yes that's correct, and reading the form in front of me it also asks if you require your old address to remain on the register with that authority and if you do you must give your reasons why.0
