You need permission from the Admins to post on here since you are posting as a representative of a company.

I won't comment on anything else you have written at this point.
  • This whole Credit Issues thing is a nightmare. I myself went with them for to reduce £23k of credit card debt approx in March 09. I laid out over £700 in fees. I now want a full refund, as stated in the contract...NO CHANCE
I have been passed from pilar to post today mainly by a firm of solicitors called Adjust (formerly MJP). They apparently bought 10000 cases from Credit Issues. They cannot do anything for me. I was passed over to Consumer Direct, they cannot do anything for me, my next step, apparently is the CAB.

Bottom line, my debt is not being reduced, I cannot get a refund from Credit Issues because a) you cannot make contact with them and b) they are about to go into adminstration.
Any advice would gratefully accepted although I have resigned myself to losing the money!!!

I haven't read any of the posts, but CREDIT ISSUES are in a CVA and are being investigated. Total and utter wast of money! Walk away people, walk away.
    £38,000 and change to £0
  • Dont be fooled by these companies who say they can write off your debt, they can't its all a scam. If you look at beneficial claims who were the market leaders in wirting debt off before april 07, they never pulled one case off and still have millions of £££ of fees in there bank account. Also look at fresh start and one stop debt solutions who all offer debt reduction they havent pulled it off either. You first have to go to court and that takes up to a year and very very very few cases have actually been won
  • If you paid by credit card for the fees then you can use a section 75 letter to reclaim from the credit card company. Also you can contact to RSM Tenon Recovery for a proof of debt form as Credit Issues have agreed repay 86p in the £. Telephone number for RSM is 0191 511 5000 quoting ref SPR/SJB/5508025. I have also discovered that if you write to Guardian Debt Management they are looking a refunds on a case to case basis. I have done all of these and will let you know the outcome.

If you paid with a credit card which you intended to get "written off" you could be personally liable to a prosecution for fraud.
  • I didnt. I have also just recd a letter from my Tesco credit card who have declined the refund on the basis that it was out of time. This is incorrect and only applies to chargebacks. My next step is the Ombudsman. Will let you know how I get on............
