Hi all
Received my V4+ box today and have programmed it similar to Heinz's advice.
Cant work out where I put my local STD code into cwclient?
Is it just a matter of going on to the End User setting, selecting New, then entering my Area code there, then click update, then force home?
Or do I do a forced download of my routes, then put the STD code in manually?
Have emailed Orchid but aren't likely to receive a reply until Monday now, so wondered if anyone knew the answer.
Many thanks

Martin Lewis is always giving us advice on how to force companies to do things.
How about giving us advice on how to remove ourselves from any part of MoneySupermarket.com
I hereby withdraw any permission Martin might have implied he gave MoneySupermarket.com to use any of my data. Further more, I do not wish ANY data about me, or any of my posts etc to be held on any computer system held by MoneySupermarket.com or any business it has any commercial interests in.

After you've saved your program in CW Client, you need to upload it to your V4+. That's done by forcing home.
That call (to an 0845 number - this time only) causes the CLI of the line to which the V4+ is connected to be downloaded to the Orchid server and the STD code (3, 4 or 5 digits) is extracted. You don't need to do anything manually.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Many thanks.
