I've just bought a viamichelin sat nav and one of the features is that you can listen to MP3 tracks through it. The thing is I've never owned an MP3 player of any kind and I'm a bit clueless!! How do I download MP3 tracks onto my say nav??
If anyone could give me some idiotproof advice I'd be very grateful.

i expect it can take SD cards... so, download onto SD card, then follow instruction manual on how to play mp3s on satnav0

See I don't actually know how to do that!!
I've got a kind of control panel set up on the PC that I can use to get the tracks onto the sat nav itself, but I don't know how to actually download the tracks into that.0 -
When you plug the satnav into the PC and turn it on, go to My Computer and see if it appears as a storage device. If so (most seem to), you can simply open it and explore the directory structure that they use.
There will probably be a directory called Music or similar - just copy your MP3 files in Windows Explorer (highlight the files, right-click, Copy) and paste them into the appropriate folder in the satnav.
To state the bleedin' obvious, don't accidentally delete anything on the satnav that was originally there!0 -
I've sorted it!!0
