Today I have a large package delivered from Royal mail National Returns Centre in Belfast. The package is pre printed with dire warnings about how difficult it to trace missing parcels when no return address is supplied.
Weird I think as I haven't sold anything big for ages and I always put my return address.
I've opened the parcel and there is a personal letter apologising for late delivery of said scooter part due to having lost telephone number. Note is addressed to someone I have never heard of. However also in the envelope is a small book sized brown jiffy bag about a tenth the size of the scooter part. So either someone has reused a tiny envelope to send a large scooter bit, or the scooter part has come back to me, and the sender of the scooter bit has had the book returned. Trouble is the address on the book envelope is crossed through 'not at this address' so where I go from here I don't know.
I suppsoe I will have to cross reference the crossed through address with my book sales and contact the person who ordered the book, oh well, only several hundred bit sof paper to go through then.....

The plot thickens..I've just cleaned up the postage label and my book was sent in February 2007 :rotfl:
It can't be a reused envelope as the scooter bit is miles bigger than the envelopeI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. if an item is sent to RLB they will look for any form of return address inside0
