    Sorry to be pedantic, but it's actually nominally 230 V +/-10%, which means between 207 and 253 V

    The voltage is not actually as important as the Frequency, which is 50 cycles per second. Why are you worried about voltage?
    This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !

    I beg to differ, the supply should be 230V +10% -6%, it used to be 240v + or - 10%, but when we harmonised the voltage with europe it went to 230 +10%-6%


    I have tested it as low as 212 V and as high as 259 V. The higher voltage is better for your shower :D

    Give them a break, baldy. It's only been about 20 years since it changed. You can't expect the English adapt to change that fast. Some of them still think you buy vegetables by the lb.

    Incidentally, a Polish bar owner in the UK has just been proscecuted for selling lager in continental 50cl glasses. It's illegal.
