  • If you want avoid the Royal Mail not getting around to sending them (some have reported them not arriving at all) then why not print off your own? Loads of companies do these, after a bit of searching I found these online......

    What's this about?

Tons of companies are charging parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles a tenner a time to reply to children's letters addressed to Father Christmas. Yet there's an easy way to get a free reply.

    How to do it

Children should post a letter, with stamp, before 12 December (though preferably earlier) to:

    Santa, Santa's Grotto,
    Reindeerland, SAN TA1

And according to the Royal Mail, Father Christmas will write back to them 'personally'.

    Feedback

If you've done this in past years or are trying it for the first time now, please report back how it all went. Hopefully the kids will be as astonished and proud as I was when I got my letter 20-odd years ago!

November 2012 and at this time of the year get ready for my daughter who is now 8 to send santa a letter. Keep it simple and easy to read make sure your address is on it and a 1st class stamp... really important.

I also have a 21 year old daughter and have been doing this since she was 6 years old and had a reply every year for both girls although my oldest doesnt write anymore...

so for almost 15 years now a reply every time:j

    give it a try....
