in Credit cards
Hi all,
Wondering if you can help or advise before I contact Mint. I have a 0% balance transfer with Mint. I took this out November 2007. I believe in runs until Jan 2009. I have about £700 left on it and am paying off as much as I can as I go along and hope to clear it before the 0% runs out.
I have a credit limit of £6000 with them. I also have about £700 on another credit card I can't fully pay off this month as usual (waiting for some invoices to be paid - GRR! ). Does anyone know if Mint will let me move this amount across as a 0% balance transfer as well? I know there is the usual % fee but I think this outweighs the interest I would have to pay on the other card waiting for invoices to be paid.
I've never had a 0% balance transfer on a card before I got this Mint one so am unsure what the score is about moving across more, or should I apply for another card with another deal?
Bit confused.
Am happy to ring Mint and ask but usually end up at some Call Centre and I would like to be fully sure what I am doing before they try and bamboozle me with financial jargon etc...
Thank you.

They might do, but it will depend on the terms of your promotion. Some instances require Balance Transfers to be completed within a fixed period of time from the promotion start date.
I'm afraid only MINT will be able to give you a definitive answer.0 -
You'll need to check your own T&C's to see if there was/is a time limit for 0% BT's, eg "BT's must be made within the first 30/60/90 days"
The current offer doesn't have such a restriction, but yours may be different.0 -
I wasnt aware Mint have restrictions on their BT's i done 1 other week and ive had my card 6 months and they gave me the 0% from when i signed up and i,m happy with that.0

Have a look at the T&Cs before you call them up so that you are aware of what they are likely to offer you. You can find the T&Cs on the credit card page. It's always best to be fully informed before you speak to them!0
