I was in my local Woolworths yesterday and they have the Little Touch Leap Pad (suitable for ages 6-36 months) for £38.97, which is a saving of £15 off the rrp. However, if you look at the back of the Christmas book, they have £10 off Leapfrog products, starting yesterday, which brings it down to £28.97!! Now, this particular one has 2 free books with it which, on their own are usually about £11. I checked WH Smith and they have the Leap pad on its own for £34.95, without anything else along with it. A great bargain I think!!!

    Official note:

You can also buy them on the Woolworths website

i tried to use this in my local Woolworths in Basingstoke today and they refused to take the £10 off voucher as there is a condition on the back which says "Not valid for special offers". They said that as the item was already discounted from £50 to £36, it was not possible to take another £10 off! I asked to speak to the manager and she said the same!

I checked the woolworths web and the items are now out of stock!!!

    Help!

Can anyone who has purchased with the £10 voucher let me know which store so I can get the manager of Basingstoke store to contact them.

    Thanks...

The till accepted it in the Crosby Branch in Liverpool.
I got the £10 off as well as the £5 gift voucher as I spent over £50.

If I were you I would go to another Woolies as it sounds like the manager in Basingstoke is a jobsworth. By the letter of their conditions they probably shouldn't be accepting it but I was served by a youngster who probably couldn't care less.

I did think about going to another store, but the vouchers in the instore magazine run out on the 11th November so I don't have much time.

I checked the woolworths website and they are available again so I have ordered online. I will now write to customer service and attempt to get the postage refunded due to the manager refusing the accept the voucher. Not sure I will have much luck, but worth a try.

Now I have to start hunting for some more bargain books for the My First Leappad. There seems to be a few going on ebay for around £8. Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

I am still waiting for a reply about my complaint about not being able to use the £10 voucher rather than the 10% off.

Not really cheaper, but argos have 3 for £24.99 still a good deal though.
