Dreamweaver

My wife was given a copy of Dreamweaver to complete an assignment in her degree.

It came with an authorisation code from the learning institution, and we want to use it on her new computer, but we can't find the authorisation code.

Any ideas of how to bypass the trial period, or failing trying to be as naughty as that, any other freebie web-page design programme.

Many thanks

Although nowhere near as comprehensive as Dreamweaver, the replacement for Nvu is agonisingly spelled KompoZer. The Win32 ZIP download is about 7¾ MB.

(You'd be better advised to try to get the DW authorisation code from the 'learning institution'!)
  • If you search the bowels of the interweb, authorisation codes are about.. but i couldn't tell you where cos it's naughty and not permitted

edit: I would highly advise mastering a pen and paper, graphics package and HTML/CSS
